This blog site is for The Water Tower Restaurant.
A restaurant that is not a restaurant.
Its a dining facility that was created by BBC Masterchef Gerry Goldwyre in 1994 after he won the coveted title.
Gerry is an avid cook and lover of all things to do with food. He is also an architect and an artist. He recently desgnied and built his own Eco house and now gets enquiries to do more of this work. He may well be "sickening talented" - as described by one reporter, but he juggles so many talents that- IT -Twitter - Blogging - and even Texting - are sometimes beyond him.

We sat down 6 years ago now to attempt to re design our web site which is gerry@gerrygoldwyre.co.uk.
We have never managed to implement the changes. We might never manage it!
Our business has grown organically (to use the current buzz words) and we operate through word of mouth. What people need are our contact details so this first page is dedicated to just that.
In future blogs we will hope to post some historical letters and photographs from the dining room. Things to amuse. Foody stories to share. Whatever. Please try to subscribe if you know how - or get a 2 year old to show you. It would be really nice to get feedback.
